We had a visit to Dilli Haat on 20th august. We had a great learning experience over there. The sprawling market boasts of a plethora of shops selling goodies brought here from different nooks and corners of India. Apart from shopping, one can experience music and indulge in some rich cuisines from different states. There’s literally never a dull moment at this colourful complex in the city. There is always some kind of event being hosted here which could be anything from the showcase of dance, music or even handicrafts from different parts of the country. It’s a great place to experience the vibrancy of the country’s diversity without going on an all-India tour.

Within the fashion section one can choose from sarees, suits, stoles, dupattas, footwear, shirts, kurtas, regional costumes, silk garments, cotton garments, woolen outfits, herbal make-up, jewelry, accessories such as bindis, mehendi and DIY pouches, ethnic handbags, leather items like belts and shoes and much more.
